Good Cabin

The Good Cabin, sister property to the beloved Commons, was completely devastated in July’s storms. Money Brook, carrying downed trees and river boulders, tumbled through the windows of the Cabin, destroying everything in its path. Since Insurance doesn’t cover landslides and FEMA only offers assistance for a primary residence, Tesha was left with a total loss + demolition costs.

We will soon reveal plans for a new, cozy place to rest as an added option for Good Commoners, stay tuned…

Located just 1 mile from Good Commons, this classic Vermont home is a convenient add-on for groups visiting our larger sister property. Some past retreat leaders have opted to reserve the cabin for themselves for the added space and privacy.

Both queen beds have 100% cotton sheets on new memory foam mattresses and plenty of down pillows. There are closets and and dressers in each bedroom with beautiful rugs. Ceiling fans are in both rooms with remote controls. Mini-split units allow for each bedroom to have it's own eco-system for your heating or cooling pleasure.

The basement features an open concept 2nd living room with tv, electric fireplace, dining area, in wall heater, table and chairs plus a murphy bed for additional guests!
