September 21, 2017 - September 24, 2017

Join Gail Belaief and Colleen Duggan-Cuomo for 4 days and 3 nights at Good Commons, Plymouth, Vt.

As women, we tend to put our own needs aside in order to care for others.  But in order to truly be present for our loved ones,  we must first take care of ourselves.  This is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature, with like-minded women and most importantly with ourselves.  GOOD COMMONS is located in the village of Plymouth Union, Vermont, at the crossroads between Killington and Okemo ski resorts and the beautiful lakes of the Okemo Valley.

Gail began her studies at Boston University in the late seventies, combining her degree in Occupational Therapy with Thai yoga bodywork, PNF muscular techniques, and later 200 hour yoga training.  She is certified in many respects of the practice including children’s, seniors, prenatal, yin, gentle restorative, reiki healing and more recently aerial yoga.  Gail’s practices include an eclectic blend of mindful breath, vinyasa flow, and therapeutic bodywork to build strength and nurture all levels of students.  She incorporates the use of essential oils as natural therapeutic remedies.  Gail teaches in the Plymouth, MA community at local studios, a well as in her home studio and on the beach.

Colleen Duggan-Cuomo has been practicing and studying yoga for over 25 years and holds a 500 hour advanced certification in Transformational Yoga.  Colleen is a practitioner of Reiki and Thai Yoga Massage, and is certified in several yoga modalities, including prenatal, yin, meridian and aerial yoga.  Along with teaching yoga and mindfulness classes, workshops and retreats, she also teaches 200 hour transformational yoga teacher trainings.  Her classes weave together ancient yogic practices and philosophy with modern day knowledge of anatomy and alignment.  She knows that yoga is a never-ending journey of self discovery and continues her education on a regular basis.  She has been influenced by and had the privilege of studying with many world class teachers. Colleen is a lifelong equestrian and horse lover, and has been an MA certified riding instructor for over 17 years.

Our fall equinox retreat will include daily outdoor and indoor yoga and mindfulness practices,  exploring local waterfalls, hiking and biking,  three organic meals a day, down time to reflect, journal, create, or explore local shops either by yourself or with the company of friends.  Rates vary from $600 – $750 by room choice – all inclusive.
