Hiking & Exploring

Take an easy stroll to the gorgeous Buttermilk Waterfalls, where you can swim, lounge, play and picnic. You can easily spend an entire summer day enjoying the falls.

We have several “insider spots” that we can guide you to for some quality time outdoors. These include clearings for bonfires and stargazing. We’ve seen the Northern Lights in the summer and the stars are spectacular year round. We can accent your “insider adventure” with gourmet picnic lunches, travel across rope bridges and enjoy treats from the famous Vermont Country Store.

For the rugged adventurer, there is access to the Long & Appalachian Trails. Excellent views of and from the White Rocks Cliff. Go south on Rte 100, turn right on 103 to Rte 140. Take Sugarhill Road (dirt) to Green Mountain National Forest Picnic Area at White Rocks. Begin on the bule-blazed Keewaydin Trail, go right at the fork, right again where it joins the Long Trail. Follow the white blazes to 3 rock cairns in a small clearing. A sign marks the White Rock Cliff trail (blue blazes). Hike Time: Half Day. Strenuous Hike at 3.5 miles round trip, elevation change 1450ft.

Yoga, Hooping or Zumba Classes

We are happy to connect a local teacher with your group for a great class in the studio here. Please reach out to see who is currently teaching in the area and what style of class is of interest to you. Namaste.
